What is a Hospital Indemnity plan?

Hospital indemnity insurance is a supplemental policy that can provide a financial cushion if you have to go to the hospital. Every hospital indemnity insurance plan is different, but Aflac's hospital insurance pays the policyholder cash benefits, unless otherwise assigned. These benefits can be used to help pay for a variety of treatments and procedures related to hospital stays.
